Sugar Delta was formed in 1992 by Dino !sd001 and a few friends in Italy. In it's time it became one of the premier DX groups on 11  meters around. In 1999 however, the club was split over differences on who and how it should be run with both sides being termed Sugar Delta. The group that stayed with Dino was termed "Original Sugar Delta" and the splinter group now headquartered in 14 Div. France was named "International Sugar Delta" but called itself Sugar Delta. Due to the problems with the splinter group,Dino formed the Lima Radio group with it's official debut 1st January,2003 with the group officially pulling all ties to Sugar  Delta in 2004.  Some members have chosen to still be "Original"Sugar Delta and we welcome people from both clubs who live in Louisiana to a member of this site.
